FOUNDER
MICHELLE FABER

Michelle Faber is the Founder and CEO of Little Yogis. She is a registered yoga teacher certified to teach both children's and adult yoga. As a young adult, she learned to optimize her mental health through yoga and mindfulness, and when she saw signs of anxiety in her son, she began sharing her favourite practices with him. Seeing how much his emotional control and overall happiness improved inspired Michelle to create a company that would help other children in the same way, and in 2019 she founded Little Yogis.

 

 Michelle's greatest motivation is making the world a better place by teaching younger generations to embrace the resilience, strength, kindness, and compassion that yoga encourages. In doing so, she hopes to showcase the benefits that yoga and mindfulness can have on people of all ages.

NIKKI SEATON

COO

Nikki holds her Masters of Education and is a recognized member of the Ontario College of Teachers. She is passionate about education and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Little Yogis Team. Nikki uses her experience teaching children of all ages, coupled with her ability to differentiate education, to help build an educational strategy for this unique and interactive yoga program for kids.

ANNE CHAN

Anne is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with additional certifications in children’s yoga and yin yoga. She took her first yoga class in 2003 and it was love at first breath. Her yoga practice eventually led her to teaching. Anne believes that yoga is truly for everyone and has taught yoga to every age group from young children through to seniors. At the heart of her teaching is a passion to celebrate movement and honour individual capabilities. She loves working with children and her classes are a combination of playfulness and mindfulness.

LEA BEAUVAIS

Léa Beauvais is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. She was born and raised in downtown Toronto and holds degrees in English and Musical Theatre Performance. While working as a freelance actor for several years, yoga was the home she came back to time and time again. Her passion led her to pursue teaching. Léa loves working with children and she has decades of experience working with little ones. She taught recreational gymnastics at the U of T gymnastics club for many years, as well as drama, dance and yoga in after-school programs.

MICHELE BRESLIN

Michele is a Kids Yoga Teacher and a Certified Ontario Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching children in Canada, Europe and Asia. She discovered the benefits of yoga through her own personal practice and felt compelled to share her passion for yoga and mindfulness with the children in her life. Michele leads a wide range of creative, educational, exciting yet relaxing classes for children and teens from all backgrounds and abilities. Her classes are infused with a balanced combination of energy and calm and her goal is to always honour the child as s/he is. The children in Michele’s care are instilled with a sense of their own inner and outer strength as well as confidence. They also learn how to build community with others
and are inspired to recognize the good they can do in the world.

ANNA MARIA DURANTE

Anna Maria Durante is a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor and Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher.  She has two children, ages 5 and 3 years old, who have participated in yoga alongside Mom since they were babies. Anna is passionate about teaching people of all ages the importance of self care and taking time to slow down.  Anna loves to share her passion for mindfulness, yoga, music, and travel through her interactive classes.

DENA JACKSON

Dena is a TEDx speaker and hatha yoga instructor who completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Kashish Yoga School in Goa, India. She loves teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness to children and adolescents although she has a hard time calling it a “job.” Dena is also a stand up comedian and podcast host who uses a comedic approach to help educate others on the benefits of meditation and mindfulness practices.

STACIE GOLDIN

Stacie is a 250-hour certified yoga teacher with additional certifications in Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She has a Bachelor of Education, is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, and has over 15 years of teaching experience with children from 2-12 years old. She left the classroom in 2002 to expand into the world of kids educational media and has been working as a freelance educational consultant since then.  She has been practicing yoga since 1995 and loves sharing her practice with others of all abilities and all ages. In 2017, Stacie began combining her love of yoga with her love of teaching and leads yoga classes in classrooms and studios around the GTA. For Stacie, her love of yoga stems from the integration of the mind, heart, body and breath and how this is the root and the foundation for connecting with the self, others and the world around us. Her intention is to guide others of all ages to discover this connection in themselves.

MADHURI VOBILISETTI 

Madhuri Vobilisetti is an Indian born certified yoga instructor who was born into a family of professional yoga instructors. Having been born and brought up in a country where Yoga was born – India, it was integrated into all aspects of her life and has moulded her into the person she is today. In addition to attaining her accounting degree, she has completed qualified certifications in hatha yoga, astanga yoga and has been internationally certified through RYS 350H teacher training from Sri Sri School of Yoga in Bangalore, India.

To continue her passion and pursuits in Yoga and wanting to spread her love for Yoga she decided to make the move from India to Canada. She believes yoga is a way of celebrating life.

SARAH BRAGER

Sarah Brager is dedicated to making an impact in the health + wellness industry. With a B.A. in Sociology and a diploma in Early Childhood Education, Sarah was drawn to teaching. She began her career as a Nursery and JK/SK teacher and in 2010 Sarah completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Space in Toronto.  She has since continued her Yoga education and completed her Pre + Post Natal certification at Esther Myers Yoga Studio and her Kids Yoga certification with Bee Birch Yoga Therapy.  Sarah has a dynamic approach to teaching Yoga as she wants to connect with her students to make them feel comfortable and confident. Her classes are often met with laughter and fun. Sarah’s mantra is “keep calm and yoga on,” and this mentality helps her out when she is teaching, or practicing Yoga on her mat, or at home with her three young children.

CHERIE TAYLOR

Cherie is a a Registered Early Childhood Educator and has been working with young children since 2004. She is a strong believer in empowering children while they are young, to give them ample space and tools to express themselves in a secure environment.

JENNIFER DOHENEY

Jennifer has always been a fitness lover, yoga advocate and keenly interested in nutrition. You can expect her to smile a lot while teaching and trying to make everyone in the class feel comfortable and welcome. Jennifer is Canadian, certified under Yoga Alliance for kids, teens and adults, and Svastha Yoga. She is continuing her education in Yoga Therapy learning to bring traditional yoga, Ayurveda and elements of modern medicine together. She owns a wellness company called WELLOGA that teaches workshops in Toronto on stress and anxiety management; using Yoga Therapy as the backbone. Helping people learn real-life takeaway tools so they can enjoy more of life's moments. She changed her professional direction from retail planning to teaching yoga & meditation after healing herself from a complicated battle with adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism and celiac disease. Finding the magic in balancing her body mind & spirit through Yoga, she hopes to share her knowledge with as many people as possible. You will leave Jennifer's classes feeling calm and grounded. She prides herself on giving her students options so they can both enjoy the practice safely and gain self-awareness.
