Why Kids Yoga?

It encourages a mindfulness that creates a positive outlook, increases confidence, and builds resilience tools that kids can use their entire lives. Yoga also ties in nicely to other aspects of healthy living, including exercise, nutrition, and overall well-being.

What We Do
Little Yogis is a fun, interactive and beneficial yoga & mindfulness program for kids. Our tagline is “positivity & movement for busy minds” as we aim to improve children and teens’ physical, mental, emotional, and social health through our curriculum all while having fun! Kids need wellness just as much as adults do, so let our positivity crew help! Each week your child will learn skills like balance, coordination, and breathwork to relieve everyday stress and anxiety all while getting a great stretch.

Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.
Learning how to detect feelings of anxiety and stress while learning resilience tools to
tackle them in daily life.
